Brief Profile:

Shri. Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence & Aerospace is passionate to setup an ecosystem of indigenous capabilities in Defence & Aerospace within the country. Adani has provided a platform to MSMEs and Start-ups for inclusive growth, and to create a vibrant skill base in helping India become self-reliant in its defence and security requirements.

He has focused on technologies and areas which will help India leapfrog in critical capabilities including Unmanned Aerial Systems, Counter Drone Systems, Small Arms & Ammunition, Missiles and Munitions, Electronic Systems and Avionics, and MRO across defence & civil domains.

He is also the President of Strategy & Chairman Office at Adani Group, working closely with the Group Chairman Mr Gautam Adani across the portfolio of businesses. He spearheads Adani Group’s agenda of Growth with Sustainability in creating a 100 years organisation. Growth in the business isn’t about just the topline and bottomline; growth is about the lives it can touch, the communities it can nourish, and the future it can inspire, making ESG core to how we do business.

He is the member of Adani’s Group Executive Council. Ashish is a Board member for Adani’s Data Centre business AdaniConneX. Ashish is on the Board of Adani Gas & IOC joint venture. Ashish has served as a Board member for Adani Wilmar Limited.

Prior to joining Adani in 2014, he worked for ten years across international markets for the global management consulting firm, Booz Allen Hamilton. On the academic front, Ashish has Computer Science Engineering degree and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He has been named amongst the Top 40 under 40 leaders in India by the Economic Times and Spencer Stuart.
