Brief Profile:

Dr Anurima Mukherjee Basu is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management Sciences at Adani University. She has experience of over 22 years, traversing domains of teaching, research and consultancy. Anurima has been teaching and mentoring students at Postgraduate and undergraduate levels for over 13 years. Prior to that she has worked in consultancy and research organisations as research/ project lead and key sectoral expert. She has diverse experience of working across several Indian states in government and multilateral donor funded projects. Her research interests are on issues of Governance and Institutional Analysis, Urban Development Finance, Urban Planning and Environmental issues.
Her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are in Economics from Calcutta University. She has done Post-Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning and PhD in Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India.
Prior to joining Adani University, she was associated with CEPT University, Infrastructure Professionals Enterprise (IPE) Pvt Ltd and Institute of Social Sciences, Kolkata.
