Brief Profile:

Prof. Rahul Singh is Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, and Professor of Strategy, Adani University, Ahmedabad, India. He has been Professor and Chair of Strategy Area at Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH). Dr Singh is also founding chair of the executive program, founding head of international partnerships office at BIMTECH. His primary areas of research are in Strategic Management, Globalization, Emerging Markets and Circular Economy and Sustainability. Dr Singh has lectured globally, visiting professor at FH Joanneum University Austria, KEDGE Business School, France, University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. He has offered programs as external resource to SAIL, NTPC, JSPL, UGC Nepal, GAIL, THDC, NHPC AND many other organizations.

Dr Singh is recipient of AICTE-Dr Pritam Singh best professor award in 2021, ministry of education, government of India, in management domain; he has received first ever ‘Best Research Professor’ award of Birla Institute in 2017, Best Teacher Award in 2022, and several ‘Best Research Paper’ awards for his researches. He has published in top-tier journals including Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Brand Management, International Journal of Emerging Market, Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science, Journal of Applied Economic Research, and Journal of Business Perspectives and has also been founding editor-in-chief of two international journals.

Dr Singh founded India Centre for Public Policy in 2008 and launched first Masters in Sustainable Development Practices in collaboration with The GAMDP, Earth Institute, Columbia University. The research and consultancy assignments of Dr Singh have been with Confederation of Indian Industry, European Union, British Council, STFC and USAID. Noted contributions include framing market principles for Micro Insurance industry of India, preparing Vision@2022 for three states of India, and first Think Tank survey of India, and and Strategic plan report for Internationalisation of universities.

Dr Singh is certified Director of Institute of Directors, India; he has been Global SiG EdTech Committee Member @TiE Global and Charter Member of TiE Delhi Chapter; Advisor at Analytics & AI Association of India; IET Future Skills committee member and other such professional and business councils in India and abroad.

Dr Singh has been invited in media debates by NDTV, Mirror Now, News 24 etc for his opinion on Policy in different economy and education domains. He also contributes regularly in media on his opinion on contemporary issues. Dr Singh has been Governor Nominee to Board of Governors, PDDU University Rajasthan; Board Member at DDU College, University of Delhi, Trustee of FMSF and SS Foundation.
