Brief Profile:

Dr Bishwajit Dey is Professor in Power systems, switch gear and protection at Adani University. His expertise is in clean and economic microgrid energy management. He has over 7 years of experience in research and academia.

His current research areas include combined economic and emission dispatch, demand side management for carbon constrained microgrid economic operation and power systems optimization using swarm evolutionary artificial intelligence algorithms.

Prior to joining Adani University, he was associated with Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET), Gunupur, Odisha.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, an M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering and a PhD in Energy Management of Microgrids from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India
