Biography:
  • Sanra R is an Assistant Professor of Communication at Adani University. She completed her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar in the domain of Childhood Studies. Her doctoral thesis investigated the representation of childhood in the works of contemporary African American women writers. The study explored the revisionist accounts of marginalized childhood experiences from a position informed by Critical Race Theory. She is particularly interested in the narrative gaze of children and representations of trauma and resilience in contemporary cultural texts. Her works have appeared in reputed journals in literary studies such as arcadia and The Black Scholar.
