Engineers’ Day Lecture Series

Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Techn ology, Adani University (AU-FEST) celebrated Engineers’ Day 2026 through an engaging lecture series themed “Engineering the Future: From Digital Intelligence to Sustainable Infrastructure.” The initiative brought together prominent speakers from industry, academia, and government organizations to provide students and faculty with valuable insights into emerging technologies, engineering innovations, and the evolving role of engineers in shaping a sustainable future.

The lecture series featured sessions covering key contemporary topics, including:

  • Redefining Engineering for the Digital Age: AI and Cyber Security
  • Edge AI and the Future of Connected Industries
  • Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructure for Tomorrow
  • Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen and the Road to Net Zero

The sessions offered a multidisciplinary perspective on how digital intelligence, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, connected technologies, sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy, and green hydrogen are transforming engineering practices and creating new opportunities for innovation.

As part of the celebration, a project exhibition and demonstration were also organized featuring projects developed by student teams that will be representing the University at Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026. The exhibition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their innovative solutions and interact with faculty members and fellow students.

The lecture series and project exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 1000 students and faculty members benefiting from the inspiring and interactive sessions and visiting the student project demonstrations. The initiative provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, industry–academia interaction, and showcasing student innovation, while reinforcing the role of engineers in building a digitally intelligent, technologically advanced, and sustainable future.
