On September 1, 2026, the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Adani University, organised an expert lecture and hands-on session on “Applications of Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) for Field Survey.” The session was led by Mr. Harshit Patel, Senior Manager–Applications, and Mr. Yash Dorji, Application Engineer, AllTerra Solutions LLP. Students gained practical exposure to industry-standard DGPS equipment, learning to configure receivers, track satellites and capture high-precision topographical data in real time, effectively bridging classroom concepts with modern field surveying practices.
