On September 24, 2026, Semester V Civil and Infrastructure Engineering students participated in an expert session on “Leveraging Low-Cost Sensors for Monitoring Air Quality in EIA.” Delivered online by Dr. Saifi Izhar, Assistant Professor, Environmental Science and Engineering Department, IIT Dhanbad, the session was coordinated by Dr. Aman Deep Gupta, Faculty Coordinator. Students explored emerging sensor technologies and their applications in air quality monitoring and Environmental Impact Assessment, connecting classroom learning with contemporary research and sustainable engineering practices.
