Prof. Sunil Kumar Jha

Biography:

Prof. Sunil Jha is Professor in Physics and Machine Learning and Dean Research and Dean Faculty of Sciences at Adani University. His expertise is in the area of Applied Physics and Machine Learning for Health, Energy, and Agriculture. He has over 14 years of post-Ph.D. experience in academia. He has been teaching Applied Physics, Basic Electronics, Computer Programming, Signals and Systems, Human Value, Business Ethics, and Basic Infrastructure Physics at Adani University using hands-on practice, simulations, case methods, projects, and in-class activities. In the past, he taught Machine Learning, Project management, Server-Side Programming, Software Engineering, Non-Linear Waves, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, etc. His current research areas include Soil Physics, Quantum Machine Learning, Nano-informatics, Health-informatics, Agro-informatics, and Renewable Energy. He is the author of two book chapters, two patents, one textbook, and more than 100 Scopus indexed articles in the journal of repute. He has a total Scopus citation of 2767 and H index 26. He is recognized as World’s Top 2% Scientist List of Stanford University in 2023 and 2025. He is actively working as a reviewer of several prestigious journals (IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, MDPI). His research has been included in European Union Energy Policy, BBC Future Research news, and World Health Organization. He worked as a publication chair and program committee member of several international conferences. He is working as Editor-in-Chief of IECE Journal of Intelligent Sensing Systems and worked as a leading guest editor of several SCI journals. He presented keynote speeches at several international conferences in Chia, and Czech Republic.
