About the Program
Investments, Analysis & Risk Mastery for Executives is a 2-day MDP for 20-30 mid-level executives, corporate finance teams, and faculty in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It equips participants with foundational finance knowledge—covering Time Value of Money (TVM), investment avenues (FDs, MFs, stocks), fundamental analysis, CAPM, portfolio theory, and statistical tools like normal distribution, confidence intervals, and VaR.
Through 40% lectures, 40% Excel/case studies, and 20% discussions (18-20 contact hours), attendees gain hands-on skills for short/long-term strategies, portfolio decisions, and teaching. Key sessions include NPV/IRR demos, beta calculations, and integrated case studies. No prerequisites beyond basic math; includes quizzes, group exercises, and certification.

- Basics of finance, risk-return trade-offs, and Time Value of Money (compounding, discounting, NPV, IRR)
- Short-term options (FDs, RDs, liquid funds) vs. long-term choices (equity, mutual funds, stocks)

Dr. Krishna Murthy, a seasoned management academic and finance expert based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, leads this MDP. With extensive experience in project finance, investment analysis, stock market forecasting, and academic research, he specializes in financial modeling, CAPM, portfolio theory, and statistical risk tools like VaR. Dr. Murthy has designed courses, led executive programs, and published on AI applications in business and infrastructure.
