Brief Profile:

Dr. H. Varia has several years of academic experience in various engineering colleges of Gujarat. He is an avid academician and researcher with motivational activities and educational standards during the career.

He has proficiency in handling and guiding the research projects of students at U.G., P.G. and Ph.D. level. He has guided more than 35 M.E. dissertations and 6 Ph.D. thesis. At present 6 students are pursuing Ph.D. research work under his supervision. He has experience and skills in developing curriculum to accommodate different learning styles, conducted various workshops, trainings, seminars and delivered expert lectures. He has published more than 90 technical papers at International and National level.

Prof. H. R. Varia has worked as an Assistant Engineer in R & B Department of Gujarat for 6 years at Godhra. Then he has joined Government Engineering College, Modasa as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering and worked for 10 years. He is promoted as an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and worked at L. D. College of Engineering for 6 years. Then after he is transferred at GEC Modasa and worked for 4 years. He has worked as an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering at GEC Bhuj for 5 years. During his stay at GEC Bhuj, he has worked as an In-charge Principal for 2.5 years. Then he has joined Tatva Institute of Technological Studies, Modasa as a Principal and worked for 4 years and 4 months.
