Gerald Wilson Peter is a proven Technology leader with 30+ years of experience delivering Business Enterprise IT, Cloud, AI/IoT platforms, Cyber Security and large-scale digital transformation. He is currently Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Adani Total Gas Limited, leading digitalization of City Gas Distribution (CGD). In his previous role as SVP & Head – Industry Cloud & Infra CoE at Adani Enterprises Limited, he was instrumental in building a robust AIIOT platform for monitoring of all Adani Infrastructure assets in renewables and City Gas distribution. The platform has the capability to process over 1B+ daily events adding business value. He has also executed one of the fastest SAP migrations to Google Cloud which is acknowledged by Google. In his long stint of 2 decades in Telecom, he has played a key role in Merger of Idea Cellular and Vodafone India and contributed to some of the large transformation projects in Telecom. He also carries with him a strong domain expertise due to his experience in industries like Airlines, Telecom, Energy & Utilities industries.
Working for Adani group since Aug 2020, he has previously worked for Vodafone Idea Limited, Idea Cellular Limited, BPL Mobile Limited and Air India.
