Biography:

Industrial AI and Decision Science leader with 20 years of experience in Process Systems Engineering, Operations Research, and AI/ML. He holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.Tech. from IIT Roorkee. His career spans Adani, Shell, IBM, and research or internship engagements with Carnegie Mellon University, ExxonMobil, Air Liquide, Indian Oil Corporation, and the Indian Institute of Petroleum. He specializes in large-scale planning, scheduling, supply chain and real-time optimization, stochastic programming, predictive analytics, and integrated AI/OR solutions. He has founded and scaled an Operations Research function, led multidisciplinary teams, and delivered commercial-grade decision solutions across energy, oil and gas, logistics, ports, airports, power, manufacturing, chemicals, and cement. His current interests include integrating Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI with optimization and machine-learning pipelines for explainable and scalable decision support.
