Dr. Vishal Lad is an Assistant Professor in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at Adani University. He earned his PhD in Construction Technology and Management from the Department of Civil Engineering at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat, India. Dr. Lad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management.

His academic and research interests focus on Infrastructure Resilience Management. His doctoral research involved developing a framework to evaluate, prioritize, and simulate the resilience of bridges. Dr. Lad has published nine international journal papers in esteemed journals, including those from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and one book chapter. Additionally, he has presented fourteen research papers at international and national conferences. Dr. Lad has accumulated over two years of academic experience and one year of industry experience.
