We are honored to kick off this series with Mr. Ashwani Gupta, CEO and Whole-time Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ). Addressing students from the Engineering and Management Schools of Adani University, Mr. Gupta emphasized that one does not need to become a CEO to be a leader.

Leadership, he noted, can be demonstrated even at the beginning of one’s career, provided one nurtures the ability. He also highlighted that while it is essential to dream big, those who dreams must remain grounded. Taking further he added that talent can be nurtured and developed over a period of time, but the willingness to learn is the most crucial factor for success.

During an engaging Q&A session, Mr. Gupta addressed students’ queries and stressed the importance of honesty, hard work, and simplicity as key qualities for leadership. He also discussed the impact of geopolitical factors on business, providing students with a unique opportunity to understand these influences from a top leadership perspective.
