Ahmedabad, 18 February 2026: Adani University hosted ASPIRE 2026, its annual intercollegiate cultural and sports festival, bringing students together in a dynamic celebration of creativity, competition and collaboration. The festival featured a diverse line-up of events across music, dance, drama and sports, reflecting the University’s focus on nurturing leadership and character alongside academic rigour.

The inaugural ceremony began with the traditional lamp lighting, followed by a welcome address from Dr. Jignesh Thaker, Dean–Student Affairs. Prof. (Dr.) Dhaval Pujara, Provost, encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity and resilience.

The event was attended by Chief Guest Hem Joshipura, Head Coach of the Men’s Under-19 Team, Gujarat Cricket Association, and Guest of Honour Vedant Trivedi, Under-19 Indian Cricket Team player and World Cup winner. Drawing from their journeys, they spoke about commitment, teamwork and the discipline required to succeed at the highest levels.

After the felicitation of the guests, the ASPIRE trophy was unveiled and the festival was formally declared open. House Captains representing Jal, Prithvi, Vayu, Agni, Antariksh and Aakash entered with the ceremonial torch, symbolising unity and healthy competition.

The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Riya Mehta, Member Secretary, Student Affairs Committee, followed by the national anthem. Sporting fixtures commenced thereafter.

ASPIRE 2026 underscores Adani University’s commitment to developing well-rounded individuals by integrating cultural engagement, athletic participation and leadership opportunities into campus life.
