February 25, 2022, Ahmedabad – Adani Institute for Education and Research (AIER) announced today it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with IG Drones to educate students about the newest drone technologies and their industrial applications in various sectors. Both parties will bring their expertise in academics and technology encouraging students to provide potential solutions in multiple sectors for better results.
This initiative will be executed through AIER Drone Centre of Excellence (CoE) which was inaugurated by Mr. M. Nagarajan, IAS (Director, Commissionerate of Higher Education, Govt. of Gujarat) & Mr. Hirenmay Mahanta (CEO, i-Hub) in the presence of other dignitaries – Prof. Dr. M Muruganant (Director, Adani Institute for Education and Research), Mr. Bodhisattawa Sanghapriya (CEO, IG Drones), Mr. Yohgcas Iyer (CEO, Vinata Aeromobility). The objective of this CoE is in line with the Government’s initiative of Drone Shakti which aims to make India a drone hub by 2030.
“Only idea is not an innovation, one needs a proper ecosystem to make an idea workable and sustainable. Technology is used in all major fields like logistics, agriculture, real- estate, sports, etc. and making it better requires constant support and with such initiative, it gives students the right platform to come up with something new”.

Mr. Yohgeas Iyer (CEO, Vinata Aeromobility), Mr. Bodhisattawa Sanghapriya (CEO, IG Drones), Mr. Anand Sudarshan (Founder & Director Sylvant Advisor Private Limited), shared a very detailed roadmap regarding the current scenario, future challenges, and growth opportunities in this field.
