Dr. Gaurav Saraf

Biography:

Dr. Gaurav specialises in advanced and sustainable machining. His Ph.D. research focuses on design and fabrication of novel micro-textured tools to improve the machinability of difficult-to-cut and additively manufactured alloys under eco-friendly conditions. He is strongly motivated to contribute to manufacturing-related research, aiming to develop industry-relevant solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability in modern machining practices. As an assistant professor he aims to promote project-based and experiential learning, while supporting student development and sports activities.
