Biography:

Dr. Nikita Joshi is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering (AI/ML) programs at Adani University. With over 8 years of experience in teaching, research, and corporate training, her expertise spans Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things, and Cloud–Fog–Edge Computing. She actively contributes to student development through the Adani Student Programming & Development Club (ASPDC) and the ACM Student Chapter, where she mentors learners in coding, problem-solving, and innovation. She regularly facilitates technical workshops, hands-on sessions, and mentorship programs to support students’ academic and professional growth. Dr. Nikita has been featured twice in ACM Ubiquity’s Innovation Leaders series for her contributions to AI and IoT-driven applications. She also delivers Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and industry-oriented training sessions in areas such as Teaching Pedagogy, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization, helping educators and professionals strengthen their technical and instructional skills. Her broader academic interests include digital phenotyping for mental health, applied ML, and intelligent edge systems. Prior to joining Adani University, she worked with DA-IICT, e-Infochips, and ICE Gate Academy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, an M.Tech in ICT, and a PhD in Cloud–IoT systems.
