Biography:

Dr. Partho Mukherjee is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong research foundation built at IIT Bombay and JNCASR, Bengaluru. His research areas broadly include Instabilities, Turbulence, Mixing in Stratified-Shear Flows and Buoyancy Driven Flows, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics. His work spans experimental (using cutting-edge PIV/PLIF diagnostics), theoretical, and computational investigations (MATLAB, Ansys Fluent), leading to publications in top-tier journals like Physical Review Fluids and Physics of Fluids. He has taught a wide range of courses, combining research depth with impactful teaching, contributed to curriculum design, mentored students, and supported various university initiatives across academics and governance.
