Dr. Preeti Rathi is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Management Sciences at Adani University. She specializes in analyzing and solving real-world operational planning problems through the power of discrete optimization tools. Her research explores complex decision-making processes across transportation, manufacturing, and analytical services, aiming to develop innovative solutions in these sectors.
She has worked in interdisciplinary areas of Operations Research, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, and Fire and Safety Engineering. Her expertise has led to publications in renowned journals such as Computers & Industrial Engineering journal, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research journal, with several papers in pipeline.
Before joining Adani University, she was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Waterloo in Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, an M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, and a PhD in decision support systems for planning contemporary intermodal freight operations. With her diverse academic background and dedication to problem-solving, she continues to push the boundaries of operational efficiency and decision-making in complex industries.
