Ms. Ashita Thakur

Ms. Ashita Thakur is an Assistant Professor of Communication at the Faculty of Sciences, Adani University. A doctoral researcher at IIT Ropar, her work investigates the representation of labour in South Korean dramas. With over six years of research and teaching experience, she has contributed to courses in Communicative English, Professional Communication, and Sci-Fi and Fantasy, fostering strong communication skills among BTech students. A Panjab University alumna and UGC NET–JRF awardee, her academic interests span Cultural Studies, Popular Culture, Asian Culture, and Labour Studies. She also brings creative industry experience as an illustrator, animator, and event organiser.
