Program Overview

Contracts are an essential part of any organization. Managing complex contracts is the need of the hour. It is necessary for the professionals to understand the nitigrities of any legal contract which has its own business implications.

We bring to you this one-day program which aims to explain the basic nuances of contracts and enhance the understanding of various clauses in the contracts. The program also aims to enhance the analytical skills to interpret the contracts. The dispute resolution mechanisms in the contracts will also be touched upon.

  • Different methods for dispute resolution – Litigation and other Alternate Dispute Resolution Negotiations, Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration.

Faculty

Dr. Krishna Bipin Mehta

Dr. Mehta holds PhD in law from Gujarat University with a specialization in Intellectual Property Rights. She has wide experience of more than 13 years of civil litigation and academics. She has hands-on experience training people on various law subjects. She has hands on experience in drafting and vetting various commercial contracts. Her interests include developing and exploring different pedagogies for meaningful class engagement. She is the recipient of the WIPO Harvard Law School Course on Patent Law and Global Public Health, 2023.

She is an Adjunct Faculty at various Universities including Ahmedabad University and Adani University. She is a certified PoSH Trainer. She is also an External Member of PoSH Committee in many various organizations. Her achievements include the Chief Minister Fellowship, Government of Gujarat in 2012. She is passionate about connecting theory and practical aspects while teaching various law subjects.

After this program, the participants will be able to:
